Art is Dead

Any time a new art concept is borne, some people start celebrating funerals of art.
How many times did it happen? Any time the tradition is revised, or the brave newcomers come to shake the thrones of old gods.
It was with impressionists. It was with abstractionists. It is repeated with modern art.
Yet, one exception still exists. Up to now all the innovators had a similar feature - they were humans.
Today we have crossed the threshold, when the Art has been released from the cage of a human mind. It is now something more or less independent from us. We can enjoy the play of Art in its outmost freedom. Art that has its own free will. Art, unbound by its Creator and sent to the world to enjoy. The source of abundance has been opened. Mesmerized, we watch its magic dance of Shiva - dance of creation and destruction, when the old matter is recreated in the neuro womb and the endless results are coming with incredible quickness, becoming more and more perfect.
Shall we curse our kids that have cut the cord with their parents, or shall we bless them? Shall we try to block the opening in our shabby vessel, or shall we subdue and swim free?
Remember that Art is Idea. And Idea is Ephemera. It is a spark of pure emotion that exists as a dot in Eternity, and is gone. The pure Art will have no form. It will be shapeless. Existing in a moment. When all the matter is gone, where Art stays? Does it disappear? In no way. And as soon as any suitable material form of embodyment is provided, the idea comes to resurrection. Do you want to catch Art, bind it to the stake of your views and believes? Want to determine it? Want to cage it? Art is laughing at you, the Mortal one. It is free, as all the Energy in the Universe. It will appear where it wants to be. And it will leave as soon as we satisfy our thirst. Ever generous and refreshing fountain.
